Miho, a first-year at Matsue girls school, joins the feeble tank club by coincidence.
The club, however, is faced with closure unless they win the next national tournament.
Can Chihaya and her club mates, in their dilapidated tanks, win the tournament?
The girls weave a hearty tank action story during one summer.
